212 The age at death for Catherine Mellier is recorded as 60 yrs/ans. That would make her year of birth to be around 1712. That cannot be correct. She would have been 12 y/o (ans) when she gave birth to Marie Catherine Beir in 1724! MELLIER, Catherine (I648)

213 The Baptism record is very blurred but adjustments with the contraste et luminosité, you can make out the father's name of Jean BENCE, Serapin (?) (I1286)

214 the day of burial is difficult to make out NICOLLE, Guillaume (I194)

215 The day of the month might be wrong. Handwriting was fuzzy JUHÉE, Jean (I2564)

216 The death record has the name of Marie Mahu with the age of about 19 years. Presumably this is of Jeanne Marie, though the birth year is off by two years. MAHU, Jeanne Marie (I576)

217 The marriage acte (l'acte de mariage) records Rene and his parents were from Sainte-Croix in Tours, France. The index (tables) for 'l'actes, of Saint Croix have no listings for Rene or his parents, Claude et Francoise Leger. They just lived (habite) in the town before Rene moved to Quebec..

DUMAS, René (I2221)

218 The marriage could have been Marie NICOLLE, fille de Helie Nicolle and Marie Le Vasseur née 1652. But the marriage record says that each of the married couple were 30 ans. Which would make it the same age as Marie NICOLLE (née 1656), fille de Charle NICOLLE et Marguerite Le Vilain Family: François EUDE / Marie NICOLLE (F111)

219 The marriage record of Maguerin Vachon and Susanne marriage is in very poor shape. You can only make out their names. Family: Marguerin VACHON / Susanne HEROULT (F460)

220 The marriage was recorded in St Remacle au Pont. But the marriage took place in Saint Nicolas-en-Outremeuse. There is no record that I could find. Family: Nicolas GERARD / Anne Marie 'Elisabeth' LIEGEOIS (F919)

224 The mother of Pierre Simon was recorded as Catherine Lefebrve but was recognized as the true son of Pierre Longis and Anne Lefeive LONGIS, Pierre Simon (I2821)

225 The name of Jean Edouard Auguste Emond's second wife in the index of Muno, Luxembourg, Wallonie, Belgium is Marie Anna Laure Thiry NOT Marie Anna Clothilde Thiry). THIRY, Marie Anna Laure (I2872)

226 The names are scribbled along side a record on the right hand side of the image. Family: Paul Joseph PERIN / Catherine Joseph SIMONET (F636)

227 The priest recorded Jeanne Françoise's mother's prenom as Ludovic, not Marie Louise DUCHESNE, Jeanne Françoise (I2757)

228 The records of Authie in Calvados for the years 1625-1678 are almost impossible to read. I've added the information that was actually visible. I'm sure there are mistakes. DE LA GOHAIGNE, Guillaume (I813)

229 The spelling of Marie's, the wife of Helie Nicolle, last name has been interpeted with two different ways: Marie Le Vasseur and Marie Bouffard. There is a marriage record that the spelling is clearly "Le Vasseur", In each of their children's baptism registres, the spelling is clearly "Le Vasseur" However, when the marriage registres of their children, the "Le" is dropped, and has become "Vasseur". The "V" and "B" are similar, but old "V"s have the left stem that leans back and curls at the end, where 'b' as in baptism, leans forward. Sometimes "b" "u" and "v" all look the same, 'u' as in 'un' . Old French writing also records double 'ss' that resemble "F", but there are differences. If you study the handwriting of the person who is recording the information on the other records, you can see other examples of "V's and "SS" as I describe. Therefore, with all the consistant spellings from birth and mariage registres, I have concluded that the spelling is VASSEUR. Family: Helye NICOLLE / Marie LE VASSEUR (F110)

230 The spellings of Duchesne , Duchain, Duchene names were interchangeable in documents of the same person and with their parents and siblings. Family: Gaspar DUCHESNE / Jeanne BAUIOZ (F1005)

231 The spellings of Duchesne ,Duchain, Duchene names were interchangeable in later documents of the same person and with their parents and siblings.. Some were godparents to Jeanne Françoise Duchesne and Bernard Joseph Morenier children. Even the mother of Jeanne François (Claire Bahy/Bay) The only thing that connects all of them together is the names of the parents Family: Nicolas Joseph DUCHESNE / Elia 'Claire' Dieudonnée BAY (F233)

232 The surname is misspelled. His daughter, Mathilde Morenier Bourdon, was the informant of the death certificate. MORENIER, Philippe Alexandre Léopold (I32)

233 The surname spelling of BATOSVRE and BATOURVE are probably not the correct name. My policy is to record the name as it looks like to me.. BETOUVRE, Pierre (I2260)

234 The years of 1760 to 1765 death notices are missing from the registres JACQUET, Jeanne Marie Theresse (I438)

235 There are children born of Jacque Maugerard and Magdeleine Pasquier, but I have not included them. Family: Jacque MAUGERARD / Madeleine PASQUIER (F303)

236 There are two baptism records for this Marie Jacques. I don't know if this means the same Marie was baptized twice. JACQUES, Marie (I1204)

237 There has been a discrepancy in the recording of the first name. In a marriage of his son, the recorded father's name is "François", but in the marriage with wife Pelagie Charron, the name is recorded as "Joseph". I have listed this person as Joseph François to help better understand the records. BOURDON, Joseph 'François' (I2184)

238 There is a 10 yr difference of birth for François Mahu in 1745 and his stated age of 30 ans at marriage record with Martine Alexandre.

Baptism: 1745
marriage: 1785, age 30 ans but real age, according to baptismal record, is 40 ans

Death in 1821, Charency-Vezins
MAHU, François (I3168)

239 There was a 'Lucie Bernard" who was baptized in Sorbey 1715. But there seems to be a discrepancy in time lines of births from other genealogists. A death record from Rachecourt, Luxembourg, Belgium states that Lucie Bernard was 30 years old at the time of her death in 1756. That would make her birth date about 1726.

My theory is the Lucie Bernard who was born in 1715 died about 1725, and her parents had another daughter the following year in 1726 which they named Lucie.

It can't be verified as the records of Sorbey stop at 1724, and then jumped to 1750.
BERNARD, Lucie (I3521)

240 There was also an infant of Richard and Marye Jacques who died Oct 22 JACQUES, Marye (I1117)

241 There were additional witness to marriage where the handwriting was too difficult to read Family: François FILLIOLET / Marie LOMOSNIER (F446)

242 There's no record for 1756 in Ste Madeleine. St Thomas has publsihed a ban of the marriage, dated 20 Aug 1756 Family: Henri ROUMA / Marie ISTA (F920)

243 They resided in Manneville-la-Pepard, Calvados, Normandie, France. They were present at two marriages, one in 1664 and another in 1648. I can not find a marriage record for them. Family: Robert MILLEMENT / Louise HOT (F398)

244 Third baby to be born and baptized in the newly corporated town of Sudbury, Ontario.

He severed contact with his siblings around 1928-30. The family searched for Daniel for 8 years in Minnesota, and eventually declared him legally dead. Apparantly, he did not want to be found.

He appears in the 1940 census in International Falls, Minnesota, and in an draft record (military enlistment) for WWII.

In 1950 census, he was a patient in a hospital in Durrand, Beltrami, Minnesota.

never married, blind in one eye
NICOLLE, Daniel 'Dan' Ralph (I5)

245 This MIGHT be the brother of René Morinier, listed as a Godfather for Jean Morinier (son of Rene Morinier et Elizabeth Georgy) Family: Jean MORINIER MORENIER / Barbe LAFFINEUR (F1132)

No known information about him years later, except youngest brother, Ernest, found him in California in very horrible health. He was hospitalized and when he was physically well (I do not know if he was mentally well), he was released and promptly disappeared and was never heard from since. BOURDON, Lawrence (I86)
